Yesterday morning, Rep. John Fleming whined that as a small business owner he only has about $400,000 left over each year after he feeds his family. It must be tough… it’s honestly shocking to me that he could be that out of touch. Does he not realize that the median HOUSEHOLD income in his state is just over $30,000? He brought up his hardship in protest over President Obama’s new plan to reduce the deficit, which includes tax increases on the wealthy (which it should be known currently pay less of a percentage of their income than the lower and middle brackets).
I have absolutely no patience for people like this.
