Bieber Misfits Ripoff

I was alerted earlier today that another person ripped off my Bieberzig shirt (which is currently sold out). This time, the person: Curt Eichelberger, used my exact drawing. This kind of thing is so frustrating. After some research it seems that he has a history of this kind of thing. I’ve been asked quite a few times if I am planning on reprinting the design—this is one of the reasons I leaning towards retiring it.

Bieberzig?

For some reason my ridiculous joke drawing—turned t-shirt—completely sold out of it’s first run. I had no intentions of reprinting it, however I keep getting emails asking about it. So, I’ve decided to put up a pre-order to determine if there really is enough demand to do another run. If 20 people order shirts by December 1st I will place another order—if not, everyone who ordered will have their money refunded.

Print Brigade: BIEBERZIG

In addition to emails asking for the shirt to be reprinted I’ve been getting emails alerting me of this ripoff! Boo!

But on a happier note, Anime Pumpkins sent me this:

After I made the Cattitude shirt (Misfit’s skull logo and cat mash-up) my friend Aaron has been begging me to do a Justin Bieber / Misfits mash-up design. I decided to set up a webstore (Crimson Jokes: Because it’s not the Misfits without Danzig) for all of my Misfits jokes. As a huge Danzig fan I have not taken lightly the fact that the “Misfits” name and brand has been dragged through the mud ever since Danzig left the band in the early 80′s.
