Rep. Joe Barton apologized to BP for the company having to provide $20 billion for an escrow account to compensate the people of the Gulf Coast for the worst oil disaster in American History—that BP caused. The fact that he would attack a deal that protects American citizens from damages caused by a foreign corporation is disgusting.
