2014 Zine Subscription!

Happy New Year everybody! Thank you all for following along as I’ve been posting these daily drawings—it’s been 6 years now. Crazy. I’ve decided to do another zine subscription this year, if you are interested see below!

Get a new zine mailed to you 8 times a year. Each zine will be packed full of weird drawings by me! Subscriptions will remain available throughout the year—you’ll just get all the previous zines at once. 2 zines will be full color and professionally printed. The other 6 will be the same DIY, punk-rock-fun, that you’d expect!

A bonus random print/drawing will be added with the first zine!

It’s Just Fucking Bikes

Some people aren’t happy about the NYC Bike Share—Dorothy Rabinowitz, Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Member, is one of angriest. When asked about her objection to Citi Bike, she responded, “Do not ask me to enter the mind of the totalitarians running this government of the city,” “Envision what happens when you get a government that is run by an autocratic mayor, or other leader, and a government, before which you are helpless. The Daily Show did a hilarious segment on the bike sharing outrage. In response, to Rabinowitz’s statement, Jon Steward commented, “It’s just fucking bikes, lady.” So… I had to draw that, right? Who is this guy?

After starting his career as a graphic designer at award-winning studios in New England, Chris accidentally became an illustrator. He’s pretty happy about that. This strange transformation was a result of his daily drawing project that he started in late 2007, in fact he’s still posting a new drawing every day.  Chris holds degrees in Visual Communication Design and Art History from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, where he is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Illustration. He has been the recipient of Gold Awards, Silver Awards, Excellence Awards, Judge’s Awards and the Spirit of Creativity Award from the Connecticut Art Director’s Club as well as BoNE awards from the AIGA and a Silver Award from Gaphis. In addition his work has been published in numerous books and publications including Print Magazine and Communication Arts.
