It’s taken a little while, but the third edition of my Typostruction zine series is finally here. This zine features over 25 of my hand-lettered, typographic compositions covering a wide array of topics. It is available now via Print Brigade.

I like to draw type and hand letter. I once jokingly referred to it as “Typostruction,” typography + destruction. I think the name is fitting.

Full color, 28-page zine featuring illustrations of every bike I have ever owned. Since a young age I have been completely bike crazy, because of that I’ve had lots of different bikes of all shapes and sizes. Highlights include: General Hustler, Robinson SST, Schwinn Predator, S&M Holmes, Soma Rush, Standard 125R, Milwaukee Bruiser, All-City Dropout, FBM Joint 2, Freeman Transport.

I promised this was coming—and now here it is! Typostruction Volume 2 features 25 drawings filled with goofy quotes, song lyrics and more. The first 5 copies have metallic gold covers, the second 5 have metallic silver covers, the rest are assorted.

It’s been a long time coming—but it’s finally here. This project was originally supposed to be a limited edition letterpress print set—but there ended up being some unforeseen issues that put the kabash on that plan. Since I had already prepared all of the illustrations I decided that I needed to do something with them. The final product is a color zine, featuring all 12 of Major Taylor’s good habits for clean living illustrated by yours truly. My good friend Clarence wrote an intro for the book as well! I was really hoping to release this in February, for Black History Month… but alas, things happen.

Marshall Major Taylor (a velodrome world champion from Worcester, MA), renowned as The Fastest Bicycle Rider In The World in the early 1900’s, accredits his success as a world champion to the value of good habits and clean living.

I love his list of rules:
Don’t try to “gyp.”
Don’t be a pie biter.
Don’t keep late hours.
Don’t use intoxicants.
Don’t be a big bluffer.
Don’t eat cheap candies.
Don’t get a swelled head.
Don’t use tobacco in any form.
Don’t fail to live a clean life.

Hallowzine is, you guessed it, a Halloween-themed zine. Clever, right? This is a collaborative project between myself and the king of the internetz, Will Bryant. Hallowzine is jam-packed with original/never-before-seen drawings, some by Will, some by me and a bunch that we worked together on!

Each zine features a screen-printed cover and was constructed by our hands!
