I’m going to be honest, Santorum’s jump in the polls is kind of freaking me out. Are people just not aware of how much of a lunatic he is? The whole separation of church and state is completely lost on him. He’s against birth control. Yeah, AGAINST any kind of contraception. He believes that sex is simply for making babies—no wonder he’s so uptight. Here’s how he thinks about contraception, “a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.”
This quote, “Satan has his sights on the United States of America!,” came from Santorum during an interview in 2008. It blows my mind that, as a country, we would consider letting someone who has thoughts like this (and says them out loud), run our country.
