On Meet the Press, this past Sunday, Newt Gingrich, one of the republican presidential candidates and overall scumbag, blasted Paul Ryan’s proposal of cutting Medicare. Yesterday, he claimed that he didn’t mean what he said and that he was essentially tricked into saying it. The question was pretty straight-forward: “Do you think that Republicans ought to buck the public opposition and really move forward to completely change Medicare?” I guess talking about actual issues that effect the American people is tricky.
