Because we apparently live in a land of crazy people, President Obama released his long form birth certificate today in hopes of ending extreme, right-wing speculation that he was not born here. Recently, Donald Trump has been one of the loudest voices claiming he didn’t believe Obama was a US citizen. So today, instead of admitting that he was wrong, Trump held a press conference where he proclaimed how proud he was of himself for making this happen (even though Obama released his regular birth certificate in 2008).
