
It’s kind of silly how over-built BMX bikes used to be. Todd Lyon’s signature model, the Huffy TL-88 is a perfect example. Why was this necessary for a mellowed-out dirt-jumper? At the same point in time Van Homan’s Little Devil section came out. Wait, why did TL have a pro-model in 98?
This bike was a tank and that was why I wanted it. Back in those days it was fun to brag about how heavy your bikes were. Times have certainly changed!
