When I finally upgraded the re-welded Haro Group 1 it was with a Specialized Fatboy. I had gotten more into street riding at this point and I wanted something strong. The massive tubes on the Fatboy frame seemed to fit the bill. Apparently I have a thing for non-traditional frames. In the end, the Specialized was heavy, awkward and probably not any stronger than most other frames available at that time.
