One of my last projects at Alphabet Arm was the rebranding of Second Glass (your unpretentious, badass source for baller wine information). I started trying to write my own description of what they do—but they already nailed it:
The Second Glass drops knowledge through weekly e-mails and events throughout Boston encouraging everyone to learn about and drink more wine. We empower our readers by enriching their knowledge of different regions, styles and techniques. Our goal is not to critique wine but explain the world of wine in a down-to-earth and humorous tone. It is our firm belief that good wine is not just for the elite. Good wine, like good food is available to everyone.
Their new logo needed to embody these values and ideas. The mark I developed also clearly distinguishes itself from other wine-related companies. It’s rough and ready aesthetic speaks to their approachable and friendly style.
